Hi, i saw the last screening on Sunday, due to your intro here. A very good film for it records in details about the life of a Henan christian. During the dialogue with Director, Gan talked a lot about christian life but not the film.

His impression to me is that he is a man short of expression and words. The main character is in fact a portrait of himself, so don't expect him to talk a lot about the inner struggle, he can film it, but cannot talk about it.

And he pointed out that only developed world literates like to see his movie, peasants indeed are put off by his very choice of topic.
