For me, it is not a movie that try it best to make you cry. But it has given me lingering sorrow at heart. I have also watched the two episodes of 三丁目 and I just found myself started to learn more about the post-war living of the citizens. It was a period of rapid developing, but yet it was somehow a disgraceful period in the modern histrory of Japan. a very good critics!

I also just watched 母親. For me, it is not a movie that try it best to make you cry. But it has given me lingering sorrow at heart.
